Facebook killed my Blog

With how convenient it is to post on FB, my blog had a slow death with little spurts of blogs here and there. I am now trying to decide whether to revive it or not. I also had the fear of it all disappearing one day as I kept hearing reports of blogs being taken down or hacked with no way of retrieving the information. And yet, here I am! I started a blog originally to share information with family far away and most of them are on FB so that just adds to my dilemma. I'm going to have to ponder on this awhile longer and  decide but wanted to post so Blogger knows I have haven't given up completely --another fear that if it lays idle to long it will just get lost in the sea of internet information and be deemed irrelevant and be deleted permanently---I obviously know nothing about how it all works. Here's to ignorance and relevance!
