Emma's Blog

I started a blog for Emma so I can keep everyone updated and aware. The link is in my blog list or you can try emmarebekah.blogspot.com. I'll try to keep it updated as we are hoping there will be a lot going on next year to help her. Emma and Tessa love to play in the bathtub together. And no, Tessa does not weight more than Emma...yet but she's pretty dang close.

Yes on 8!

Here's Matt and his best friends, Mike and Mike . I don't know why I didn't get a picture of Becky and Amy while we were all together but I'll have to get one this weekend when they come to help me pack. They're so awesome and so are there husbands. I feel the need to emit any confussion about this picture, all the men in this picture are married to their wives. When Amy took me to Disneyland for my birthday she was telling a worker that we were there the week before celebrating out anniversary, she turned to me and said, Congratulations. We quickly explained that we had been there with our husbands celebrating our anniversaries...we were not married to each other. Mike felt pretty gay after seeing his hands on Mike's shoulder so I felt the need to make mention. hehehe -

Rerun's Baby?

I had to take a picture of Tessa in this outfit because Matt said she can't were the hat again. He said she looked to much like Rerun (i didn't know who that was but I guess it's some big guy that wears hats like that-oh look, I found a picture). It was funny to cause all the girls said, "Look, she's Paris" I got enough slack that I don't think I'll put it on her again, at least with the hat. She's so much fun right now, she doesn't crawl- she just rolly pollies around until she gets somewhere. She also puts everything in her mouth...can't you tell. She's our "Budda"ful baby!

Grandma and Grandpa Cobb and Aunt Kelli came over with the Heywoods and Carters for cake and ice cream after all the little girls went home. The Carters came up early and helped out during the party and stayed the weekend. We have the best friends, everyone stayed and played games.

What a fun birthday party! I can't believe Mykaila is now 8yrs old! We had such a great turn out, thanks to all her cute friends for coming and making it fun. We make braceletts and necklaces, then played a High School musical game, and Guesstures. The funnest part was playing Zoom with the kids, it wasn't planned but we had more time and it ended up being the funnest part.

With such a big weekend I forgot all about Halloween. Much fun. We had trunk or treat earlier in the week. Our ward makes it so fun. Kids had a blast. Then on Halloween the kids had a parade at school and that night we went and visted Grandpa Felt, Aunt Sandy and Uncle Richard and Grandma and Grandpa Cobb.

Happy Birthday to Matt and Matthew( for future reference I call Big Matt- Matt and little Matthew -Matthew). Their birthdays being two days apart we held a combined birthday party for them on little Matthews birthday 11/1/08. Everyone pulled together and made it really fun. We had the Carters, Cobbs, Castros and Aunt Sandy over for food(thanks Momma Cobb for the yummy sandwhiches), fun playing Catch Phrase and then the olders boys played Halo while the girls played Hand and Foot. Little Matthew enjoyed his cake and would not let go of his transformer. Big Matt was awesome and cleaned house for his own party and enjoyed sharing the spotlight with his mini Matt. I enjoyed celebrating the lived of my two favorite boys.

Matt woke up early on my birthday cleaned up the house and made me breakfast. Then I was given a very fun birthday party at Mom and Dad Cobbs house. We had a BBQ, kids swam while we played games, and I got my own personal show by non other than Mister Michael Jason Cobb- I couldn't believe it either, I loved it. Thanks to Mom and Dad for having the party at their house cause I could relax and for my sweetest husband ever for orchestrating it all and making me yummy food and an awesome ice cream sandwhich, cream cheese cookie bar frosting with woppers on the top- you can't beat that. The Heywoods, Castros, and Cobbs all made it wonderific.

10/23/08 Happy Early Birthday to Me! Amy took me to Disneyland for my birthday- I really loved spending the day with Amy, no kids, and we got to go on all the rides that make Matt sick. We got to ride the roller coaster twice, the one that shoots you up in the air twice and space mountain three time. I love the thrill! Maybe next year we'll go sky diving. Thank you Amy!

October 22, 2208 Alyssa's first field trip and I got to go and see the wonder of five year old eyes! It was Alyssa's first time on a bus and she thought that was pretty cool. The pumkin patch involved a quick course in pumkin 101, then a corn maze, and a small animal zoo. The kids loved it all even the corny pumkin jokes. Next over to the Apple Valley Museum- didn't even know we had a museum but it was fun. The kids got to dress up and then go on a tour of all the wonders of the high dessert- a must for all.

Matt and I always sleep in Sundays because we have church late and the kids enjoy the mornings without the "no" monster up. So, I thought we would wake up to kaos but to my delight I found this, the kids had set the table, "made" breakfast, and had a sign saying they loved us-we felt very loved. Oh...they even had the Sunday dresses laid out for all the kids. They are the best kids ever.
